A grand ceremony was organized at Government Arya Degree College, Nurpur by NCC cadets to mark 150 years of the national song Vande Mataram. The event was presided over by the Principal, Dr. Anil Kumar Thakur.

The program was held in the college ground, where around 500 students joined NCC cadets in singing Vande Mataram in unison. The entire atmosphere was filled with patriotism and enthusiasm.

In his inspiring address, Dr. Thakur stated that Vande Mataram is not just a song, but a symbol of Indian unity, freedom, and national pride. He encouraged students to actively participate in nation-building and to adopt values like discipline, service, and dedication in their lives.

NCC ANO Lieutenant Surjeet Kumar was also present and addressed the cadets and students. On this occasion, Professor Manjeet Singh, Professor Surjeet Singh, and other faculty members were also present.
